Phil Wood has been a partner in COMEDIA since 2000 and is presently most associated with the concept of The Intercultural City. Phil has conducted widespread research and managed practical projects around the world and is currently principal advisor to the Council of Europe on its transnational Intercultural Cities programme. He is the author of ‘The Intercultural City Reader’ and ‘The Intercultural City: Planning for Diversity Advantage’ with Charles Landry.  Brecknock Consulting and COMEDIA have collaborated on the Intercultural City project and Phil and Richard Brecknock undertook a series of Creative City workshops in a number of Norwegian cities in 2007.
