Brecknock Consulting was part of the Hassell Master Planning team and subsequently engaged as public art advisers to the Brisbane City Council design team on art opportunities for the major redevelopment of the former QCL cement works site into a 30 hectare regional park. The project won a 2003 AILA Planning commendation award, AILA Merit award - Planning 2004 and a RAIA Urban Design award in 2005.
